When Archie first came into our home, we had a picture in our heads — of the “perfect dog”: playful, obedient, always wagging his tail.
But Archie had his own vision.
He wasn’t difficult. He was... himself. A quiet thinker with a mind of his own.
He didn’t chase toys on command. He didn’t bark just to make noise.
He’d sit by the window for hours, watching the rain — present, calm, contemplative.

At first, we clashed.
We didn’t understand him. He didn’t understand us.
It felt like we were living together but speaking different languages.

Then we paused — and started listening.
Not training. Not fixing. Just observing.

And something changed.
We started seeing the world through Archie’s eyes.
